At the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the NHS Lothian charity Breast Cancer Institute is hosting a special event at IGC celebrating the ground-breaking research and improvements in treatment and care made possible by donations.

Generation Scotland Symposium Promo

To celebrate 20 years of Generation Scotland, we gathered researchers, participants and supporters for a special symposium. We heard from our founding and current researchers, supporters, as well as volunteers, to look back on everything we have achieved and to look forwards to the future.

For World Ovarian Cancer Day, around 40 people joined us at the IGC to hear how our research is driving personalised patient care.

The IGC Science Away Day introduced research from established researchers and newcomers across career stages, as well as offering an opportunity for networking.

The Hidden Cell Dark Genome conference was held from 3-4 April, preceded by a public lecture on 2 April by writer and broadcaster Dr Kat Arney entitled ‘Enter the Dark Genome’.
